About The League

Burnaby's Mixed Adult Recreational Softball League (MARS)  is a non-profit society run by a volunteer board of directors for the last 20+ years.

​

MARS provides:

 - A fun, semi-competitive league

 - 10 teams in 2022.

 - League supplied "TeamSnap" to keep games/Teams organized

 -  SPN liability insurance

 -  Games in Burnaby Parks

 -  No weekend games! :)

 -  Strike mat & Balls provided for new teams

 -  And most importantly a Fun league!

 

The league runs from mid-April to mid-August with a Year-End Tournament in August. We play a 4- 6 ratio (4 women, 6 men) .

We follow basic SPN rules, but also have some house rules to keep the game fun.

​

What do we mean when we say fun? Well, if you are an inexperienced player or team and would love to learn the game contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you! Teams generally have their teams set up already, but there are occasionally openings so there is no harm to get in touch and we will get you on a contact list.
